A Fine Pattern 1853 Second Model Enfield 3 Band Rifle. 55” overall, 39”.577 three groove rifled barrel, Ordnance proofs, inspectors’ marks and sold out of service mark. Adjustable rear sight to 1000 yards. Border engraved lockplate with Crown VR 1856 Tower Ordnance markings. Walnut full stock with Pimlico 1862 roundel struck with sold out of service stamp, regulation brass furniture. Barrel with three spring retained bands. Ramrod with swell & jag. White buff leather sling.
