All items are guaranteed to be authentic and of the date stated. We believe that our descriptions of condition are fair but should you find genuine fault or are dissatisfied we will give a refund of the purchase price.

Should you purchase an item unseen, via mail order, you have a five day inspection period from the date of receipt. During this time if you have any queries or, in the rare event that you do not wish to keep the item, we request that you contact us either by telephone or email. Returned items should be securely packaged (we recommend using the packaging that it was sent in) and sent securely – we will be happy to advise. The return costs are the responsibility the would be buyer. On receipt, and assuming the item to be in the same condition we will make a full refund using the same method as your original payment.

We will guarantee to take in part exchange, at the original purchase price, against a more expensive piece, any item that has been purchased from us, however for very recent purchases we reserve the right to use our discretion as to whether to part exchange if the item has been bought within the preceding twenty-four months.

All our stock is sold as Antique Collector’s items and as such West Street Antiques cannot accept liability if the firearms are fired.

Overseas Delivery
Many carriers, notably Parcelforce and Fed Ex, now refuse to carry antique firearms in an over-reaction to the ever present terrorist threat, regardless of the fact that they require no permits or licences to own. This has inevitably meant that shipping costs to overseas customers have risen. We are constantly trying to resolve this issue and strive to offer the most competitive rates available.

PAYMENT
Payment is required prior to despatch, we accept most credit cards, cash, cheques and bank transfer.

A detailed receipt will be provided, usable as a valuation for insurance purposes.
