7420 A 1827 Patt Sword to the 3rd Sikhs Category: Swords Description: A Rare 1827 Pattern Rifle Officer’s Sword 37” overall, 32” blade etched to one side with Victorian crown over strung bugle between ‘Punjab Frontier Force 3rd Sikhs’ with foliage, the other side with VRI cypher & foliage. Steel 3 bar hilt with rifles badge, wire bound fish skin grip, in steel scabbard. VRI cypher used after Queen Victoria became Empress of India 1877.
