A Superb Belgian 6 Shot 80 Bore Percussion Revolver 11 ½” overall, 5 ½” octagonal sighted blued barrel locked to the open frame by a wedge on an under barrel lever that moves laterally releasing the wedge from a slot in the cylinder pin. 6 shot cylinder etched with trails of vine leaves, loading lever to l/h side of barrel, frame not blued but etched overall with trailing vine leaves & tiny bunches of grapes, spring catch to hold hammer clear of nipples to l/h side, spurred hammer, double action, chequered walnut butt with domed segmented ebony cap, liege proof marks to cylinder, view marks to barrel , initials ‘FT’ engraved on l/h side of frame. Contained in original close fitted velvet lined oak case with all accessories. C1860 Near mint, probably unfired.
