For Hospital of Poor's Portion, painted square head with the arms of Plymouth, initials RG and dated 1803, arms of the hospital, Royal coat of arms for 1801-1816. Baluster turned handle Worn condition, finial chipped. .See page 49 of Mittons The Policeman's Lot.
