A Rare 1807 Officer's Sabre of The 10th (Prince Of Wales's Own) Light Dragoons 36” overall,31” bright curved blade double-edged at the point in front of the yelman and etched with gilt cabalistic inscriptions between a moon and stars on one side, and crossed lances and arrow on the other, regulation brass stirrup hilt retaining faint traces of gilding and comprising shaped langets each with applied cast and chased silver Prince of Wales' feathers, scrolled rear quillon, knuckle-guard pierced for a sword-knot, stepped pommel and partly fluted back-piece in one, and fishskin-covered grip bound with copper wire , in original steel scabbard with two rings for suspension
