 Household Cavalry Dress Sword Pattern 1814 ,41” overall,35” double fullered blade with spear point, gilt brass half-basket hilt with oval shells, the outer guard comprising a crowned cartouche edged with acanthus foliage applied to which is a crowned lion on a crown, the inner guard with small scrolling bar (quillon lacking) the bun shaped pommel , copper wire bound leather covered grip, in its brass scabbard with two openwork panels filled with fishskin, two suspension rings mounted on bands.

Circa 1810-20

In Good condition two barsin the hilt with old cracks.
