A fine and rare Yeomanry pattern 1856 pistol 15 ½" overall, 10" rifled .65 barrel, foresight and two leaf rear sight, London proof marks, and inspectors marks on left-hand side of the breech, flat border line engraved lock plate with VR cypher on the tail, and 1858 Tower, walnut full stock stamped Moxham to left-hand side, ordnance pattern brass furniture, butt slotted for shoulder stock, flat butt cap with laynyard ring engraved 'GYC' for 'Gloucestershire Regiment of Yeomanry Cavalry', swivel ramrod.
Dated 1856.
Rare pistol in excellent condition ,good bore, no finish to the barrel or lock, no dings to stock only 1400 made
