A good Whitney 2nd model percussion Navy revolver, 13 ½" overall, 7 ½" octagonal barrel with brass bead foresight, engraved on top flat, 'E Whitney. M Haven', under lever loading rammer, barrel and frame martially marked 'B', six shots cylinder similarly marked, solid frame with sighting groove, spurred hammer notched with a rear sight, brass, brass trigger guard, walnut grips.

Circa July 1862.

Good overall condition, toned finish. Silver/ Brown patinated, no pitting, mechanically strong, uncracked grips with a few dings.
