 A Superb Percussion Over & Under Pistol by Barnes & Co. London. 8 ½” overall. 4” 16 bore round barrels, sighted barrel block, decorated with a band of engraving at the muzzles, signed ‘F. Barnes & Co. London’ with Birmingham proofs. Profusely scroll engraved frame, hammers decorated en suite, fitted with a blued belt clip to the left, finely chequered walnut grip with vacant oval escutcheon, white metal butt plate with engraved steel butt trap containing two percussion caps. Fitted with a captive ramrod beneath.

An uncommon ‘Pocket Howdar’ sized pistol in untouched condition overall, retaining traces of original finish.
