A good Martini Henry rifle MkIV 32 ½" rifled barrel 577/450 with foresight & ladder rearsight, proof marks on L/H side & on receiver ,sold out of service mark, two barrel bands, front one with bayonet bar & swivel, iron ramrod, receiver engraved with crown over VR & Enfield 1887. Walnut stock with circular Enfield stamp on R/H side of butt and numerous other store keepers stamps. Long loading lever with WD mark & inspector's stamp, trigger guard with swivel. Old, possibly original, leather sling.

Dated 1874

Good condition overall, stock oiled dark, some finish to metal parts, bore good.
