A Cavalry Bandsman’s Silver Plated Trumpet with a very fine Heavy Silk and Bullion Banner for the coronation of George V in 1912. Silk banner 21” by 16”, red silk profusely embroidered to the highest possible standard, with a royal coat of arms with raised lion and unicorn with angels above, bordered with floral embroidery including thistles and roses. With gold bullion fringe, backed with navy blue silk. The trumpet is a standard military one.
The banner and trumpet are in very good condition
