A very good and scarce 1759 pattern flintlock light Dragoon pistol. 15 1/2 inches overall, 9 inch round steel barrel with Kings proof Mark centrally struck on the breech and barrel smiths stamp" IG" to left hand side, rounded border engraved plate with GR cypher and government ownership stamp and across the tail "Vernon 1760", border engraved Swan neck cock, walnut full stock with it ordnance pattern brass furniture and storekeepers stamp Crown and GR, original ramrod.

Good condition, minor splits to right hand forend.
