A Good Volunteer 1823 Baker Rifle .46” overall. 30”” twist steel barrel with bayonet bar, stamped John Clive, two leaf rearsight , Ordnance proofs. Rounded carbine style border engraved lockplate stamped HN internally , with swan neck cock, Crown GR ,Tower on tail Walnut full stock . Brass mounts, consisting of butt plate, large two compartment patch box, trigger guard , escutcheon engraved with a Cornet over an’ E ‘ and ramrod pipes. Two sling swivels. Heavy ram rod.

Good Condition, barrelled has been rebored to be two groove Brunswick .700.
