A good post 1809 pattern Brown Bess, 39" barrel with Ordnance proofs, regulation border engraved lock with ring neck cock marked Tower & crown over GR with viewer's mark & Tower on the tail. Walnut full stock with regulation brass furniture with sling swivels and steel ramrod. Tail of butt plate engraved '5BG64' for the 5^th Dutch Infantry Grenadier Company who fought at Waterloo.
