An Officer’s blue and gilt dirk of the highest possible quality. 18” overall with 12” wide flat slightly curved blade. With blue and gilt decoration, trophies of arms and scrolls. Boat shaped steel guard pierced in elaborate fish scale pattern. Ovoid pommel, piered en suite. Black fishskin grip with gilt brass ribbon. In its original steel mounted and black tooled leather scabbard with frog stud.
